Disorders of Sexual Differentiation

Dr. Seideman is the co-director of a multidisciplinary clinic that specializes in individualized treatment of patients (and families) with disorders of sexual differentiation (DSD).

These conditions, such as congenital adrenal hyperplasia, androgen insensitivity syndromes, mixed gonadal dysgenesis and others can cause the development of ambiguous genitalia and hormonal abnormalities. We work with families to develop a treatment plan to address the unique needs of each child.

Robotic Surgery

Robotic and minimally invasive surgery can result in less pain after surgery, smaller scars, and a faster recovery. The pediatric urology team at Doernbecher offers state of art, robotic and minimally invasive procedures for many of our commonly performed surgeries.

Procedures include robotic pyeloplasty for UPJ obstruction, ureteral reimplantation, excision of urachal remnants, ureteral reconstruction and more.

Kidney Stones

With the rate of kidney stones in kids on the rise, here at Doernbecher we have created a multidisciplinary team of specialists to care for kids with stone disease.

Doctor Seideman has partnered with Pediatric Nephrology and a Dietician to provide comprehensive treatments and prevention planning for children with kidney stones.
